Job Details:
You must have excellent thorough experience with Microsoft i.e., Active Directory, Office365, Windows 10, Firewalls, Networking. This opportunity which will give you training, experience, and allow you to follow the eventual path higher level IT Engineer work where you will work on interesting projects. This is part of a professional services team working primarily on project-based work. The small team works very well together, and has a wonderful atmosphere, therefore the client wants a good Helpdesk IT Support Engineer who has a great attitude and ambitions to get to the next level. As an IT Engineer, you will need to have at least 2 - 3+ years current experience in 2nd level technical support, helpdesk and remote support work within a Microsoft environment using Windows 10, Office365, Active Directory with an interest in networking.
Required:
• 4 + Years’ Experience in an IT Engineer, IT Field Engineer, with proven experience within a Microsoft environment
• Ability to work on Multiple Customer sites on a Project-by-project basis
• IT skills Microsoft related e.g., Office 365, windows etc.
• Windows 10
• Office 365
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Firewalls, switches, access points including VLAN’s and VPN
• Azure knowledge is a bonus
• Excellent people, communication, customer service skills
• Based in Ireland right now, and legal to work here
• Good English with excellent communication skills
Qualifications and Personal Skills:
• IT Certifications – MCP, MCSA,
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proven team player
• Customer focused with a proven track record in your current role
• Self-motivated with an ability to work in teams
• Be enthusiastic, ambitious, and keen to learn new skills with a positive attitude
• Able to prioritise, delegate and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Plus to have knowledge or experience with any of the following technologies:
Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, EMS, Security & Compliance), Azure (AD, migrate, Backup, DR, WVD, SQL, Apps, monitor), SonicWALL (firewalls, access points, NSM, CAS), Aruba (gateways, switches, access points, central), Datto (Backup, DR, Access Points), Unifi (access points, switches, bridge)
