JOB DETAILS:
Our Client is looking for an innovative Senior NodeJS Developer that is a hands-on individual to be an integral part of the design, build out and adoption of an exciting development team based in Galway.
Required:
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 2-3 years’ experience developing applications using Node.js.
• The candidate will have a passion developing complex asynchronous Node.js applications which persist data efficiently and run in scalable cloud services.
• You will have strong maths background, an eye for detail, code in JavaScript, CoffeeScript and have experience in writing unit tests as you develop functions.
Day to day tasks will include:
• Designing & developing efficient backend functionality in stateless REST and statefull persistent game servers.
• Deploying functionality to a staging environment and validating functions from client apps
• Writing documentation for client app developers
• Writing thin APIs to interact with your backend functionality
• The person needs to be used to high performing environments with lots of personal responsibility given and hard work and high output expected.
