The Role
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget with adherence to quality and compliance standards
- Successfully establish, maintain, and manage all external and internal relationships
- Assist with scope and deliverable's definition, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, managing all changes using appropriate verification techniques
- Effectively apply project methodology and enforce project standards, using a creative and flexible approach to conflict/issue management and facilitation
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Risk management; reporting and escalating as needed
- Ensure availability of, and coordinate, resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Budget management and responsibility where necessary
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Competencies:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification
- 4+ years’ experience in a demanding IT Project Manager role
- Legally eligible to work in Ireland
- Solid knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks required
Professional Experience & Personal Competencies:
- Successful track record of managing/delivering large scale, complex IT Projects
- Outstanding client-facing and internal communication skills; ability to present, in a non-technical manner, to peers and senior management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, time management, as well as strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an individual and team environment
