Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Level 2 infrastructure support engineer on behalf of one our largest clients. This is a 6 month contract role. The successful candidate should possess strong customer facing skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Have strong troubleshooting skills
- Must enjoy working as part of a team
- Take responsibility and ownership of level 2 support calls from inception to completion
- Hands on troubleshooting skills resolving a wide range of technical issues relating to Microsoft Windows Servers, Desktops, Printers, Network Software
- Diagnose and resolve Network related technical problems within Local Area & Wide area Network (WAN) environments
- Installation and support of a wide range of networked hardware &software products including; Microsoft Server, 2003,2008,2012, Windows 7 Enterprise, Ubuntu Linux, Netapps, Tandberg Video Conferencing
- Experience of Dell & IBM Server platforms
- Knowledge of configuring Wireless technologies in a secure networked configuration
- Administration of IP Telephony systems, Alcatel or Avaya
- Represent the business in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to our client’s end user community
- Participate in I.T. projects / roll outs
- Excellent written & verbal Communication skills
- Strong IP skills \DHCP \Routing DNS
- Recognised Industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware will beseen as a positive advantage
- Ability to learn quickly on the job
- Work on your own initiative
