JOB DETAILS:
Our client is looking for a Hands-on CTO (Engineer to develop into a CTO) to join as a Co-Founder and replace the present outsourced development company, to help take the business forward to realize it's global potential.
Role:
• The role will be to handle Architecture Design, Execute & Co-ordinate development (both internal & external) and provide support initially.
• You will be tasked with growing the technology team to match the growth requirements of the business into the future.
• You will be an equity holder and co-founder in the business, and be involved in all decisions.
• This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong technical background to make significant exit returns with a system that has already been built and a business that has already been de-risked.
• Our clients system is built on an AWS Backend, with a REACT Front end build as part of a Django REST Framework. Interfacing to the FCA and other regulators is built in Python.
Required:
• 8+ years working in a technological role.
• 3+ years of managerial experience.
• 5+ years working with ReactJS.
• 3+ years working with Django Rest Framework.
• Python proficiency is essential
• 3+ years working with AWS
• AWS Certifications.
• Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to delegate efficiently.
• Extensive industry knowledge.
Desired:
• Experience in security is also a requirement.
• Experience in Natural Language processing software (eg AWS Sagemaker, NLTK, Senna) is a bonus but not a requirement.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant IT subject.
