Job Description
The Role:
The IT Team Manager manages the delivery of all IT operational services according to ITSM best practices, including user support services, system delivery, availability, capacity and security management. The following role encompasses managing all IT and Business systems. Responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of IT projects with key personnel, vendors and customers They also manage all the IT and audio visual equipment.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
• Over 4 years’ experience in IT with a strong background in day-to-day IT operational management - covering Infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Cloud Services, Data and IT operations
• Operational experience in Key Infrastructure Technologies such as Firewalls, Switches, Storage, Virtual software and Servers (Windows)
• At least 1 year in a hands-on managerial position
• Experience in IT security
• Experience in IT Project Management in roll-out out IT and Business Systems
• Strong vendor management skills
• Must have experience and comfortable working in a fast moving, growing and dynamic environment
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies such AWS, Azure, Office 365
Education & Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Services
• 4+ years in Information Technology
• Desirable: Project Management, ITIL or Cloud Systems qualification
