Our Client is a startup tech company based in Dublin and New York. We are looking for an Android developer to join their Dublin office. As a company, they value employees who who show initiative and step up to the challenge of solving tough problems and making a difference.
You will play a crucial role within the organisation and as such you will have:
- 3 – 5 years professional experience with native Android application development;
- Experience consuming and designing Restful APIs;
- Experience designing modular applications;
- Experience with the various Android Camera APIs, SQLite;
- Knowledge of Android Security Best Practice and tools;
- Knowledge of AWS S3, AWS Cognito, AWS IAM a big plus;
- Experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, Kotlin beneficial;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science;
As an Android Engineer, you will:

- Design, code, analyse and test systems;
- Work collaboratively with other departments as well as with your fellow engineers;
- Manage all software updates and bug fixes;
